Reflecting on 2024: A Wonderful Year at Wags Animal Hospital
A Year of Milestones and Memories
Three words: “rollercoaster of emotions!” This year brought moments of joy, laughter and heartfelt goodbyes for our team. While we fondly remember longtime patients who crossed the rainbow bridge, we were delighted to meet so many new puppies and kittens and help their families start their pet-parent journeys. Our team celebrated together, danced through the hard days, and even shared a bittersweet moment when our beloved team member, Fabi, was accepted into veterinary school. Though we’ll miss her, we’re thrilled to see her continue to grow in her veterinary career!
Incredible Growth and New Services
This year, Wags Animal Hospital continued to grow! We welcomed 700 new clients and 880 new patients to our Wags family. We also expanded our team, adding a fourth veterinarian and three new support staff members to better serve you and your pets.
A major highlight was the addition of digital dental X-rays to our services. This new technology allows us to uncover hidden dental diseases under the gum line, helping pets feel significantly better with timely treatment. Your pet’s oral health is just as important as the rest of their care, and we’re proud to offer this advanced service.
Exciting Plans for 2025
Looking ahead, we’re excited to refine our internal processes to serve you even better. We also see the rise of pet insurance and are exploring the idea of a dedicated team member to assist clients with their pet insurance needs.
In addition, we’re partnering with our external laboratory provider to create a new diagnostics package at a reduced cost. We understand that life is getting more expensive, and we want to make comprehensive veterinary care more accessible. This package will provide a thorough internal health check for your pets and give you peace of mind that you’re staying on top of their care.
Thank you for trusting us with your fur babies and being part of our Wags family. As a holiday gift, we’d like to share two of our favorite quotes.
Dr. Ori: “What you do makes a difference, and you have to decide what kind of difference you want to make.” – Jane Goodall
Dr. Jordan: “The bottom line is, in life, sometimes good things happen, sometimes bad things happen. But Honey, if you don’t take a chance, nothing happens.” – Dorothy, Golden Girls
We are incredibly grateful for your continued support and look forward to a fantastic 2025 filled with wagging tails and happy moments! Contact us for any of your pet’s needs as we head into the New Year.
